These quotations are just variations on a theme and say it all when it comes to art too.
No matter how large, or for that matter how small the artistic result, it has to have started somewhere whether it is the first hammer and chisel blow to a block of stone for a sculpture, a brush stroke on a canvas, the kneading of clay for a vase, a stitch in an embroidery, the humming of a tune and jotting down those notes on paper - they are all the starting point.
The end result is simply a continuation from the start until the end - even if the end is incomplete.
